I cover inequity in education throughout Connecticut for CT Insider, and spend most of my free time working on my family's farm.

 

Before coming back home to Connecticut, I was a government reporter for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington. 

 

Before moving to Spokane, I covered business, agriculture and environmental issues for the Times-News in Twin Falls, Idaho.

And before the Times-News, I was a jack-of-all-trades reporter for a trio of weekly papers in Douglas, Wyoming. My biggest stories were about an ongoing oil and gas boom. ​​
